Aunque Hole ha sido señalado por ser una de las bandas de rock liderada por una mujer que ha tenido una amplia influencia en artistas femeninos contemporáneos. Críticos también han reconocido a la banda como el grupo musical de más alto perfil de la década de 1990 que discutió temas de género en sus canciones, debido al agresivo y violento contenido lírico de Love, que a menudo aborda temas de abuso y explotación sexual, la banda fue conocida por que la cantante había sido esposa de Kurt Cobain





A diferencia de muchas otras canciones la melodía y la voz cansada de Love, con lo que parece una tristeza interminable fue lo que me conquisto. Este tema venia en un compilado de una revista Española de música donde descubrí esta banda, en ese momento tenia mi programa radial a la siesta todos los días que se llamaba "Malcriados". Como otros temas lentos jamás salio al aire.
