La cantante Gwen Stefani escribió la canción sobre su compañero de banda y exnovio, Tony Kanal poco después de que terminara su relación de siete años. Don’t speak” iba a ser una canción feliz, pero no lo fue. Y eso, fue lo mejor que le pudo pasar a No Doubt.      




 Imposible no haberla escuchado, creería que esta canción es parte de muchísima gente que paso por una separación y en esos momentos en los que uno tiene que ir acomodándose tenes que volver a comunicarte con la otra parte y también es posible que  mentalmente le decías "no hables"
